OUR SOLUTION

PWC Green Energy Pellets (Black Pellets) are a type of biomass fuel produced using the steam explosion method. Wood chips or other forms of biomass are heated with steam and then rapidly cooled. This process causes the wood fibres to break down and bond together, creating PWC Green Energy Pellets, which are denser and more energy-rich than white pellets.

There are several reasons why PWC Green Energy pellets are superior to white pellets. Firstly, they have a higher energy density, which means they contain more energy per unit weight. This makes them more efficient to transport and store, as they take up less space and are easier to handle.

THE FIRST TWO SYSTEMS...

PWC mainly uses fire-damaged tree trunks from the devastating forest fires in northern Alberta. Another factory is filled with trees in British Columbia that have been attacked by pine bark beetles. In this way, wood waste, so-called "dead wood", is put to good use and paves the way for reforestation by our foundation.
